By installing our lightweight aluminum flywheel, you automatically bolt on up to 15 horsepower to the wheels. Your vehicle will reach higher RPMs quicker due to lighter rotating mass. For turbocharged vehicles, this also reduces “turbo lag”. ZOOM’s flywheels are manufactured using 6061-T6 billet aluminum. ZOOM’s flywheels can be used with any type of clutch material including organic, carbon, carbon/KEVLAR®, KEVLAR®, ceramic, metallic and sintered iron. We also offer a replaceable friction surface insert that can be installed to eliminate having to purchase a new flywheel.
