NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Champion “The King” Richard Petty lends his name to and
helped develop the Driving Experience. Richard Petty Driving Experience is held
regularly at over 20 NASCAR racetracks across the United States.
To reduce costs and improve drivability for the wide range of individuals that
drive their cars, RPDE uses single disc clutches in their fleet of
over
100 Nextel Cup style cars. Multi-disc clutch packs are used on the NASCAR Nextel
Cup circuit and can be very expensive and tricky to engage. RPDE actually uses
the same quality clutch in their driving experience cars that ZOOM sells to
leading auto parts retailers and jobbers. If ZOOM clutches can handle 600
horsepower and 150+ mph speeds, then surely our clutches can handle your day to
day driving routine or a night at your local dirt or asphalt circle track!
